Turkish GP referred to as off, Austria to host two races in a row | Racing Information

LONDON: The Turkish Grand Prix in June has been referred to as off resulting from COVID-19, with the French Grand Prix introduced ahead per week and Austria now internet hosting two races in a row, Formula One stated on Friday.
The French Grand Prix at Le Castellet will now be on June 20, with races at Austria’s Purple Bull Ring on June 27 and July 4 to finish a ‘triple-header’.
Turkey’s Istanbul Park circuit had been added to the calendar solely final month to exchange the cancelled Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal on June 13.
Method One stated Turkish GP organisers had requested the game to think about holding the race later within the season, if that was doable.
