TEL AVIV (Reuters) – Sirens warning of incoming rocket fireplace sounded in northern Israel close to its border with Lebanon on Monday, the Israeli army stated.

The army stated it was investigating. Israel’s Channel 13 TV stated explosions have been heard within the space.

Israel’s Ynet information web site reported that 5 rockets had been fired at Israel from Lebanon, all of which fell in Lebanese territory.

On Thursday, three rockets have been launched from Lebanon in direction of northern Israel however landed within the Mediterranean Sea, inflicting no injury or casualties, the Israeli army stated.
